The Chickamauga City Board of Education had a called meeting on Thursday, August 31st and unanimously approved Mrs. Stacy McDaniel as Superintendent of Chickamauga City Schools. Mrs. McDaniel will replace Mrs. Melody Day who relinquished her duties at the end of June. Mrs. McDaniel has been serving as Assistant Superintendent since 2012. She has been involved in all aspects of the school system over the past 23 years with a combined 32 years of teaching and administrative experience.
Mrs. McDaniel is a dedicated educator with strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to excellence. The Board looks forward to working with Superintendent McDaniel to ensure the tradition of excellence continues.
