Congratulations to Gordon Lee Middle School for earning the Math Leader Award, an achievement that recognizes outstanding growth in math performance. Based on last year's Georgia Milestones scores, Gordon Lee Middle School showed growth in math in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. The percentage of students scoring in the proficient or distinguished levels significantly increased compared to the previous year. State School Superintendent Richard Woods made a special visit to Chickamauga to present the award and celebrate the success of our students. This award reflects the hard work of teachers, support staff, and students. It proves that dedication, perseverance, and a shared vision on academic success can result in positive outcomes.
